 Summary of Experience

Eric first learned of surveying through his father who was a surveyor for the State of Washington Department of Transportation. With Eric’s work ethic, love for the outdoors and understanding of math, a survey profession was the logical choice. Eric began attending Renton Technical College in September of 2001 and graduated in the top of his class in June 2003. After a couple of survey positions as a rod man, Eric decided that he wanted to pursue his Professional Land Surveying License. That opportunity was presented after interviewing with Mr. Woldendorp for a survey position. Eric began as an instrument person and climbed the ranks to Chief of Parties. Along the way, Eric has assisted Mr. Woldendorp on many projects.

In the field, he was the party chief for the Sapphire Skies projects in Cle Elum, Washington. This included performing boundary and topographic surveys and construction staking in subdivisions such as Bell Creek, Meadow Ridge Park, Woods and Steele Park and Timber Ridge. On the west side of the Mountains, Eric has performed many boundary and topographic surveys, with an emphasis on Architectural detail. Eric has construction staking experience on large scale projects like Central Park, a residential community in Redmond, along with smaller scale 2-4 lot subdivisions.

In the office, Eric was presented with opportunities to assist with boundary resolution, survey drafting and client relations. Some clients that Eric has completed projects for are Prescott Homes, 2R Development, Landtrust Group and Ard Consulting. Eric was also responsible for lining out field crews with there day to day tasks, ensuring that projects were completed in a timely matter with an emphasis on a quality end project.

With his experience in both the office and the field, Eric has proven to be a vital component to Site Survey and Mapping. He has the ability to make the necessary vital decisions that arise in both the field and office to ensure that the client gets the necessary information to complete there project
